You have found Kana, Eron's successor.
Kana is a Cisco IPTV 3423 with two 18.1 GB SCSI disks, 704 MB of memory, and dual P3 500mhz processors. She is connected via a T1 from DSL.net / MegaPath.
The server is named after Minami Kana, a character from 2007's fall animu season. The animu is based off of a manga, and it is probably shit. I don't know about you, but I liked it better when it was called (Lucky Star) (Hidamari Sketch) Azumanga Daioh.

- Timeline of Events
- During September 2006, Owl took shipment of a never-used Cisco IPTV machine with two Pentium 3 processors. He decided that this machine would be the successor to Eron and would be deployed within two months.
- On approximately August 16, 2007, Eron suffered a disk failure. /var was destroyed.
- The next evening, Owl was on-site and diagnosed the issue. Eron was repaired enough to boot under its own power and continue running the IRC bots, but Apt, Apache and MySQL were devestated.
- On 2007-11-29, Owl finally built a replacement webserver.
- One day later, Kana served her first HTTP request from the datacenter.
